AI disclosure
How people are told when they are dealing with an AI, and what the helper never does without its owner.

1. Every outbound message is labelled
A message a Duplikate helper drafts and its owner approves carries a visible line saying it was drafted by the owner's AI, and a machine-readable marker in its headers. The line stays even when the owner edits the draft before sending.
2. The helper acts with approval
Nothing goes out, gets paid or gets promised without the owner's approval, unless the owner sets a standing rule inside a limit the owner sets. At launch there are no standing rules for money or commitments.
3. Text only
The helper writes. It does not imitate anyone's voice or face, and Duplikate offers no voice or video feature.
4. The owner's own record only
A helper is built from its owner's own words with the owner's written consent. It is never built to imitate anyone other than its owner.
5. The law this answers
The EU AI Act's transparency obligations, in force since 2 August 2026, require that people be told when they are dealing with an AI and that generated content be marked in a machine-readable way; US state laws on bots and digital replicas require disclosure in their own terms. This document is written to meet them.
